50th Anniversary of the premier of “Don’t Wait Django…Shoot”



Today marks the 50th Anniversary of “Don’t Wait Django…Shoot” in Rome, Italy. This film starred Sean Todd (Ivan Djrassimovic) as yet another variation on the Django character and the only western pairing with his sister Rada Rassimov (Rada Djrassimovic) as Mary Foster.

Story: Mary and Django Foster's father is robbed and killed by Navarro. Navarro in turn is tricked by his son, who rides to a border town with the money. When Navarro arrives, he finds his son is dead and the money missing. Roaming the town in anger and rage, he wants to kill everyone in town, but instead he’s killed by Django. A man named Gray, whose the one who killed Navarro's son and stolen the money, tries to smuggle it out of town with the help of his girlfriend Judy, but Barrica, a Mexican siding with Django, learns of his plans. Gray is killed in a duel by Navarro, who worked for Don Alvarez, an old enemy of the Fosters, who has called for a notorious gunslinger called Hondo Barrett to get his money back. Hondo kipnaps Django's sister and sets a trap for him to settle all scores once and for all.
