Remembering Mavid Popovic

Milivoje, Popovic-Mavid was born on September 12, 1909 in Sabac, Serbia. Milivoje was a Yugoslav actor using the pseudonym Mavid Popovic and is best known for his role as Intshu-tshuna in 1963’s Apache Gold. He then had minor roles in other Karl May films. When the May films ended he was seen in several of the DEFA Indian films starring Gojko Mitic such as “White Wolves” (1968) and “Fatal Error” (1969).
 
Popovic died on July 5, 1994 in Belgrade, Serbia, Yugoslavia at 84.
 
Today we remember Mavid Popovic on what would have been his 105th birthday.
