We end our search for locations for “Death Rides a
Horse”. After their duel Bill mounts his horse and leaves Ryan at the village
and rides off into the setting sun. This area has been seen in dozens of
Euro-westerns over the years including: “The Deserter”, “The White, the Yellow
and the Black”, “The Big Gundown”, “A Man a Colt”, “Run Man Run”, “Arizona
Colt” (aka “The Man from Nowhere”), “The Last of the Mohicans” among many
others.
The area is known as La Salinillas and requires one to hike back through one of several ramblas to reach the location.
