Exasperated by the constant abuses perpetrated against them by the British colonizers, the Hudson mestizo rebel and start guerrilla warfare. Ann, youngest daughter of Sullivan, a businessman who has always shown open hostility to the mestizos, is captured by the insurgents who want to use him as a hostage. Entrusted with the custody of the girl is Victor, a young man who has joined the rebels to avenge his brother's death, which really is really the responsibility of Sullivan. Given the failure of all attempts to trace his daughter, Sullivan promises the rebels freedom as long as they safely return the girl. An agreement is reached, and Victor is in charge of bringing Ann to his house. He fortunately escapes an ambush by treacherous Sullivan, Victor is surprised to find at his side Anna, who has finally realized the wickedness of her father and of the validity of the claims of mixed race mestizos. After a battle that ends with the annihilation of the rebels by the British troops, Ann and Victor, are pursued by Sullivan and his men but manage to reach the U.S. border. Now joined by a tender feeling of love, the couple now begins a new life, leaving behind forever their struggles and grievances.
