Happy 90th birthday Alan Scott



 Alan Robert Scott was born on October 13, 1922 in Haddonfield, New Jersey. He was discovered in 1958, in France, by film director Marcel Carné and appeared in “: Les Tricheurs” (aka The Cheaters) as Alain Scott, before returning to the United States to appear with Cary Grant and Tony Curtis in “Operation Petticoat” (1959) directed by Blake Edwards. He then returned to France where he appeared in films and television from the early 1960s until the late 1970s. He sometimes played English as well as American characters. Among others, in: “Fortunat” (1961) by Alex Joffé , “Lola” (1961) by Jacques Demy, “Paris au mois d'août “ (aka Paris in August) (1966) by Pierre Granier-Deferre and “La Poudre d'escampette “ (1971) by Philippe de Broca. During his European career he appeared in two Euro-westerns: “Cavalry Charge” and “Two Violent Men” both in 1964. Later he appeared in the TV series “Tang” (1971) and “Les Fargeot” (1974). Where he is today is unknown but we celebrate his 90th birthday.
