Happy 70th Birthday Marie Versini

Marie Versini was born in Paris, France on August 10, 1940. The award winning actress is best known for her roles in several Karl May films and most of all as Nscho-tschi the sister of Chief Winnetou in two Euro-westerns: “Apache Gold” (1963) and “Thunder at the Border” (1966). Although French she did quite a bit of work in Germany. She appeared on German TV's “Sergeant Berry” (1973-1974), “Aunt Emma” (1980) and “The Beautiful Wilhelmina” (1985). She married director, screenwriter Pierre Viallet in 1974 and has appeared in several of his films. Today she spends most of her time with her husband at their home on the island of Ré. In 2008 she wrote and published her first mystery novel “Rätsel um N. T.”. Her biography “I Was Winnetou's Sister” was published in 2003. Today we celebrate Marie Versini's 70th birthday.
